These days, the biggest advantage of pay per click advertisements is the fact they can target customers according to their geographic location. There are thousands of multinational companies that operate all across the globe. Even if they offer the same product across the globe, their advertisements need to change to attract the local population. An advertisement that is popular in England may not be popular in China. The reason is simple. There is a huge cultural and language difference between England and China. So, the advertisements need to change. In traditional advertisement, this involves huge costs. Not so in pay per click advertising. With some software applications at hand, it is a simple method to change the content and look of the advertisement while offering the same product or service.

Long tail keywords are those three and four keyword phrases which are highly specific to whatever you are selling. These convert the most clicks to customers because they target a consumer who specifically knows what they want and is ready to buy.
