Video ads are becoming more and more popular in pay per click ads. According to a 2007 study conducted by Google and AOL, more than three quarters of respondents (78%) felt that online video ads provide as much or more of an opportunity to learn about a product or service than television.

The study further highlighted that videos prompt action. Proof? Almost a third of respondents (64%) took action after seeing a video ad; almost half (44%) visit the advertiser’s website; and exactly a third (33%) search for a particular product or service.
